Actually 90% of what you see in this picture is dirt. Huh. The rust is entirely contained to the unibody. none of the suspension or subframe pieces have anything more than some light surface rust that’s typical of a car from this era, but the rocker panels, pinch welds, and parts of the floor pan are completely rotted through. I’m most concerned about the pinch weld since it’s a structural component, and I’m thinking of cutting out as much rot as possible and welding in some 1/2" square tubing which will also be tied into the frame rails via some diagonal pieces. Should be some fun fab work. Probably going to cut the rocker panels off completely and replace them with plastic ones adapted to fit from an EK Honda Civic

that is some angle on the strut. Quick struts are awesome
